Navigate the new landscape of college and career.

After earning my MBA from Johns Hopkins University, I served in high-level roles, including as a COO and foresight analyst serving senior officials in the federal government. These experiences honed my abilities in strategic planning, research, and decision-making, skills I now bring to ThriveU Academy as an Educational Planner.

When I left government service, I started Craft College Consulting because I anticipated significant change within the higher education industry and noticed that most services available to families seemed to serve the industry, not the families. (It reminded me of the days when everyone relied on realtors paid by the Sellers to help them decide what home to buy.) At Craft College Consulting, I’ve been working with high school students to prepare for and succeed in college. I’ve found that I particularly enjoy helping students identify and develop their authentic selves and abilities, and that colleges increasingly reward those who demonstrate “fit to major.”

I’ve also found myself helping students who are in college but having trouble figuring out what to major in, recent college graduates, and people who want to either go directly to the workforce or to combine working and college. I created ThriveU Academy as a parallel business so I could help a broader range of people identify and develop their strengths and prepare for work that suits them.

The services I offer through ThriveU will benefit younger students, adults looking to enhance their skills, those pursuing work that may not require a college education, and those exploring non-traditional routes and new types of credentials.

I bring strategic insight and practical planning skills to help individuals navigate their unique educational and career journeys. As a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultant's Association, I am dedicated to helping learners of all ages both learn their thrive and earn their thrive.
